This is something that may be helpful with classroom management! My practicum teacher has been doing it, and it works as the students get used to it! It goes something like this:

I'm on One

The Counting Has Begun
I'm on Two
Where Are You?
I'm on Three

Where Should You Be?

I'm on Four

Only One More

FIVE!

By the time the teacher has said four, the students should be on their way to their seats!!

This week has been an interesting week in Imbler, they are so excited about Halloween! I am excited about seeing the students all dressed up in some crazy costumes! We have been doing some science about pumpkins. All the second graders in Imbler have the cycle of pumpkin growth from seed to big pumpkin! Make sure to ask your second grader about their facinating pumpkin cycle!
